We had a date night at Galleria de Paco in downtown Waterloo. The restaurant was painted using spray paint by Paco Rosic to look like the Sistine Chapel. Its beautiful. We were greeted at the door by Jackie, and shown to our table. He even pulls out your chairs for you. Not many places have that type of service.
We started off the night with a glass on wine for Jill, and a Guinness for Shane.
We both decided on the 4 course meal. For starters Jill had the Salmon-Lobster Raviolini and Shane had the Shrimp Puffs, both were delicious. We started to dig in before remembering to snap a picture.
Our next course consisted of Lobster Bisque and Galleria Caesar, again, both excellent choices.
Our main course was next. Shane had the Sesame Seared Tuna Steak, and Jill had the Pan Seared Scallops with tropical salsa. The presentation of both dishes was beautiful. And they were both amazingly flavorful.
Last course was dessert. Shane had the Apple strudel and Jill had the Black Forest Cake. Once again they were both delicious. We left pleasantly stuffed.
