We found a great place to Kayak on the Upper Iowa River. We broke out the camper and took it on its first trip with the Kleins. We stayed at Hruska’s Bluffton Campground because we knew we could get a ride up river and then float back to the campground without needing to drive at all. The shuttle service worked great and the gentleman that gave us the ride was very nice.

The river had beautiful bluffs along the way and a few “rock bars” that you could get out and stretch you legs for a bit. We ended up taking around 4-5 hours to float back to our campsite and the whole time the view was amazing. We had a great time talking and connecting while having a few drinks on the water. We ended the night with a campfire and slept great in the new camper.
